Target

For the 2015 holiday season, Target wanted to bring the spirit of the holidays to guests through a unique interactive experience in stores. Together, we set out to explore how technology could bring shoppers into Target stores, and elevate the in-store shopping experience to make the season a little more fun for the whole family.

WebGL has become a growing revolution in 3D graphics technology for desktop and mobile online. With Bullseye’s Playground, Kids play a series of games right from their mobile browser, unlocking extras hidden in the aisles of stores. This physical/ mobile integration alongside graphics technology using WebGL was the first of it’s kind.

In select locations, kids could play in the virtual winter wonderland using the new Project Tango devices. Tango uses 3D technology to track positions and understand spacial elements in the real world, allowing the user to see a virtual reality space that adheres to these objects in real time.
