Skillet Chicken
Ingredients
1 lemon
1lb red potato
1lb green beans
3-4 cloves garlic
2lb chicken thighs (bone-in, skin-on)
To taste: salt, pepper, gochujang
Prep work
Preheat cast icon skillet in the oven to 425* Prep the chicken by dabbing away excess moisture with paper towels, then sprinkle each side of each chicken thigh with salt and pepper. Prep the veggies by washing everything, then slice potatoes in half, and snap the ends off green beans.
Cooking
Start by placing chicken skin side down on the hot cast iron. Return to oven and cook for 15 mins.
Remove from oven and flip chicken so the skin side is up, and add potatoes in the space between each chicken thigh. Return to oven and cook for 15 mins.
Remove from oven and flip again, adding green beans into the mix. Return to oven and cook for the last 15 mins.
Finally, remove chicken, potatoes, and green beans from oven. Rest the chicken and potatoes, and toss green beans with gochujang to taste.
